Joshua Thomson-Why I Love Photography

Over the past year, I have taken an interest in photography more than ever before in my life and I have learned to appreciate it on a whole new level. Photography for me is a way to capture a moment in time; a moment in time that you can treasure and look back on. We all live day to day never appreciating our surroundings. We never take the time to just stand in a certain place and look around and take in the beauty that is around us. There are too many things that we all take for granted in this life. And this is my purpose, to take pictures that people can look at and enjoy; pictures of places that people recognize and can look at through fresh eyes. Every moment in life is a picture that is ready to be taken, but the question is, will you know when that moment is?
