Best described as “Uptown” and not so traditional (you won’t find Chintz tablecloths and lace doilies)! You’ll discover sleek handmade birch tables and modern lighting, bookcases stocked with packaged loose leaf teas and the finest assortment of tea accessories in Atlantic Canada.

Experience comfort, relaxation, ambiance, and wonderful smells that emanate from our home style cooking – soups, chowders, stews, mouth-watering scones and more. Our sticky date or treacle pudding coupled with hot toffee sauce as well as other seasonal desserts are true palette pleasers!

Our Classic English Afternoon Tea (by reservation) is unique to Saint John. It features wonderful tea sandwiches (Wolfhead Smoked Salmon with fresh dill, Starburst Cucumber on cream cheese, traditional Egg Salad on whole wheat, and Proscuitto wrapped Asparagus) fresh baked scones served with fresh fruit preserves, lemon curd, and clotted cream; fresh fruit tartlets; delectable lemon squares; strawberries dipped in chocolate and, of course, tea ( black, green, white, oolong, rooibos, herbal, and fruit & herbal blends).

And, for our coffee loving customers, we also serve authentic Italian specialty coffees illy – espresso, cappuccino, and café lattes.
